IT WAS another poor day for both Newham clubs in the Essex Senior League.
Clapton lost 3-0 at Hullbridge Sports, while London APSA were beaten by bottom club Mauritius Sports 2-0.
The Tons fell behind after just 10 minutes through a Michael Hart strike and further goals from Lloyd Wilson and Tony Lane in the second half sealed their fate.
APSA, meanwhile, suffered a demoralising defeat against a Mauritius Sports side, who before the weekend had won only twice all campaign.
Andrea Marillo gave the Wadham Lodge club the lead on the half hour, before Camilo Montano doubled their advantage with seven minutes remaining.
APSA take on Stansted this Saturday at the Terrence MacMillan Stadium.
