The men's second team travelled to Saffron Walden and took home all three points after a thrilling victory.

After Luke Weatherill opened the scoring, East London stretched their lead to 3-1 at half time, but the home side came out strongly and quickly drew level.

The visitors then hit back with a brace of their own through Weatherill and Paul Carruthers to make the score 5-3.

Amazingly, the Sparrowhawks allowed Saffron Walden to draw level for the third time, but, with five minutes to go, Alex Kickham dispatched a penalty corner to snatch the victory for the men in orange.
