MARTIAL artists from the Stratford Judokwai struck gold at the national championships.
Hayley Willis and Jordan Chappell, both 14, were victorious at the British Judo Association National Championships in Sheffield.
Competing at the two-day event, featuring 780 competitors aged between 12 and 18, Chappell was unstoppable in the under-55kg class defeating a string of GB internationals.
Fighting in the under-40kg category Willis successfully defended her national title, beating all her opponents with maximum points.
