WEST HAM'S Academy team will be raring to go for next Tuesday's FA Youth Cup clash with Queens Park Rangers, despite not having played since before Christmas.

The under-18s scheduled clash with Arsenal at the weekend was called off because of the adv-erse weather, while due to snow on their Little Heath training ground, the youngsters have been forced inside to practice.

For Academy director Tony Carr though, he is pleased with the fitness of his players.

"We've been splitting our time between the weights room and the sports hall to try and do our fitness and football work," said Carr. "It is okay for two or three days, but after a while it is not ideal.

"But the boys have certainly not lost their fitness levels over the break, though they do lose a bit of edge and sharpness which takes three or four days to get back."

Carr will be hoping they regain some of that sharpness this Saturday morning when Fulham are the visitors to Little Heath.

The FA Youth Cup fourth round clash is the big one and ticket information for next Tuesday's game at Upton Park has now been confirmed.

Entry will be on the night with adults paying 3 and juniors 1. All tickets will be sold from the West Stand ticket office and entrance will be through the West Stand lower only.

The match kicks off at 7pm.
