After reading your story about the deselection of certain councillors, including Val Rush, I had to write in to express my anger.
I have lived on the Gascoigne for three years now and I have seen first hand how hard Val works for the people of the estate, surely it should be up to us to decide who our Councillors are?
The labour party needs to think hard about letting good councillors go at this time in the borough, I will be choosing who I vote for very carefully next time around.
