DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE will be without centre half Will Antwi for Saturday's match with Crewe Alexandra.

The former Wycombe and Aldershot player has not featured for Daggers since coming off after 81 minutes in the 1-1 draw at Grimsby on December 5.

Scott Doe has come in and performed admirably in his place, but manager John Still admitted he isn't sure just how long Antwi, who signed for the club in pre-season, will be unavailable for.

"Will has an ankle problem, he's had an injection, but it could be the ligament and that will be slightly more long-term," said Still.

"We're not quite sure how long he is going to be, and he has been a big player for us.

The boss is desperate for his side to have some match action on Saturday, as they haven't been involved in a game yet this year.

"At the moment, I don't know if the game will be played, but we are desperate for it to be on," he said.

"We have been able to put on some training sessions, but mainly indoors and haven't been able to do what I would call football work, and organisation, which we need to do."
