He walked in the direction of Prince Regent Lane wearing a blue / grey Fred Perry tracksuit with two stripes down the sleeves, a navy blue jumper, blue jeans and black brogue shoes.

A police spokeswoman said: "It is known that he had taken a quantity of pain killers and may be depressed.

"His family are extremely concerned for his welfare because it is out of character for Leonard to go anywhere without contacting them."
