Forces’ veterans have marched through the streets to honour the men and women from Dagenham and Becontree who lost their lives in the First World War.
Members of the Becontree branch of the Royal British Legion held a service at their clubhouse while the Dagenham Girl Pipers led veterans marching towards Dagenham Parish Church from Rectory Road social club.
Rev Martin Court led both services with speakers at Dagenham Parish Church including Dagenham and Rainham MP Jon Cruddas.
The services marked 100 years since Armistice Day on November 11, 1918, which brought the First World War to an end.
