A MAN was arrested at a Barking pub for possession of class A drugs and a knife.

Police executed a drugs warrant at the White Horse Pub, in London Road, on November 27.

They arrested a 35-year-old man, who was found with the drugs and a knife.

Another man, who was wanted on warrant for criminal damage, was also arrested.

The pub was closed for the night.

Inspector Ian Piggott said: "We are sending a clear message that dealing and recreational use of drugs will not be tolerated.
