THERE was a rare moment of agreement in the council chamber last week as all members unanimously passed a motion congratulating Trinity School staff for the fantastic job they do.
The one-of-a-kind special school in Heathway, Dagenham, has been called "outstanding" by Ofsted inspectors and parents say children there are happy and well cared for.
Executive member for children's services, Cllr Rocky Gill, said: "Trinity School is something that we should be very, very proud of in this borough.
"I would like to congratulate the Headteacher, Peter McPartland, and all the brilliant staff there."
Mayor, Cllr Charles Fairbrass, was instrumental in bringing about the amalgamation of three special schools in the borough to make Trinity School.
He said: "If I am remembered for nothing else on this council, I would like to be remembered for Trinity School.
