The Pc has won her right to appeal after not working for three years


Detectives are appealing for help identifying two men who attempted to rape a woman walking through an underpass in Barking.

A woman was approached at around 8.30am on Sunday, May 3, in an underpass beneath the Barking Northern Relief Road near to Linton Road.

One of the men grabbed the woman around the upper body while the second man exposed himself to her.

The woman was able to run from the scene and the men did not follow.

The victim, who is in her 20s, did not require medical attention.

She reported the assault to police soon after the incident.

The two suspects are described as white men wearing black clothing. They spoke in a language which was not English.
