Audley Harrison will face his old rival Michael Sprott for the vacant European Heavyweight Championship at London's Alexandra Palace on April 9.

The former Repton Olympic gold medallist Harrison and ex-British and Commonwealth title holder Sprott will clash for the belt in a return of their February 2007 clash, when Harrison was knocked out in the third round.

Harrison, 38, who saved his career by winning Prizefighter Heavyweights Three in October, had been scheduled to meet Poland's Albert Sosnowski for the title, however, Sosnowski will now face WBC Champion Vitali Klitschko in May and vacate the European belt.

Colin Lynes is aiming to bring new life to his boxing career when he challenges Commonwealth light-welterweight champion Ajose Olusegun at Manchester's MEN Arena on Saturday, April 3.

The 32-year-old former British and European title-holder, who was beaten by Gavin Rees after reaching the Prizefighter light-welterweight final in December, meets Olusegun in a supporting bout for David Haye's WBA world title showdown against John Ruiz.

Victory over the Commonwealth champion, one of the most dangerous and avoided boxers around, and unbeaten in 27 professional contests, will certainly bring a new boost to Lynes' 12-year pro campaign.
