PLASHET PARK BC returned to winning ways with an excellent 57-48 victory over North Greenwich on home soil.
The hosts made a fine start on rink two as the team skipped by Alan Hogwood with Alf Goring, John Pain and Cliff Dye were victorious.
It was nip and tuck through to the end, with Plashet nicking the last end to win 16-14.
Another close game was skipped by Peter Chilkes on rink three, who going into the last end were drawing the game only to lose by one shot 19-18.
Plashet's rink four skipped by Vic Byrne, including George Davies, Ken Carter, Harry Morley, were always ahead in their match though.
They pulled further away towards the end of the game winning 23-15 to seal victory.
