A group of apprentices have developed an app to help students be more connected.

Alex Bambridge, 19, Sisandra Teixeria, 20, and Tahir Patel, 21 – who all work to support students and staff at Barking and Dagenham College with their digital needs – decided to take the next step with their BDCPlus invention.

The user-friendly app is designed to appeal to modern students by allowing them to find out about events and activities at the Rush Green college at just the touch of a button.

“There were challenges, but the app has already been praised by students and staff and is being downloaded all the time,” Alex said.
