A WOMAN'S last wish to be buried with her husband will cost her son double, because she moved out of the borough before she died.
Catherine Borley moved to Dagenham at the age of five and lived there until she was 67. But when her husband died in 1979, she had to move to a care home in Grays.
On November 27, she died at the age of 97.
Now her son, Henry, says he will be charged 1,300 instead of 650 for his mother's burial in her husband's grave in Rippleside Cemetery, Barking, because she no longer lived in the borough.
