A nutritionist who struggled to juggle childcare with work is helping others to help themselves.

Single mum Khushnood Ahmed, a health champion in the borough, is teaming up with the council to train others mothers to teach children healthy eating and cooking.

“We’re looking for single mothers who will become responsible for teaching inspirational cooking techniques and dishes, engaging students and groups,” said the mum-of-two in her 30s, who lives in Barking Riverside.
