Fearless Barclays staff donned their jumpsuits to scale the mighty O2 and raise money for cancer care.

Seven people from the Barking branch joined 52 of their colleagues from across the East of England to climb the 170ft-high dome.

Edita Verslauskaite, Neelam Karim, Tabrez Raja, Krushant Patel, Patricia Nzau, Nishalini Thiro and Nicola Odonnell, helped raise £15,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Neelam Karim commented: “This was an exhilarating, and at times scary, climb for us all, but we were more than happy to swap our suits for jumpsuits and give it a go for Macmillan. Thank you to everyone who made the day possible, particularly the people of Barking who really got behind our fundraising efforts. Without your support we couldn’t have completed this challenge.”
