THE FAMILY of a pregnant teenager, who died suddenly in her sleep, have spoken of their anguish at losing "the loveliest girl in the world".
Jeff and Sandra Carter, of Havering Way, Barking, are still trying to come to terms with the mysterious death of their daughter Kirsty one year on.
The 17-year-old, who was five months pregnant with her first child, died in her bed some time between 1 and 6am on January 21 2009.
Doctors were unable to find a conclusive cause of death but believe it may have been a case of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) or a fit related to epilepsy.
