The Paralympic torch will pass through the borough in the final stretch of its long journey across the country before entering the Olympic park for the opening ceremony via Newham.
The flame will arrive in Barking Park at approximately 8.38pm on Wednesday, August 29.
It will travel along Longbridge Road, the Northern Relief Road and London Road, until exiting the borough via Barking Road at approximately 9.02pm.
A twilight lantern procession will accompany the event and there will be a lantern flotilla on the lake in Barking Park, from where spectators will be able to watch the opening ceremony on a big screen.
There will also be performances, workshops and family entertainment throughout the afternoon and the evening.
Unlike the Olympic torch, which toured the country for weeks and arrived in the borough on July 22, the London 2012 Paralympic torch relay will take six days.
It will only pass through the six host boroughs in the capital.
Four separate flames will be lit in London, Greater Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff before they are united to create the Paralympic Flame at Stoke Mandeville which is home of the Paralympics.
