TWO Newham & Essex Beagle athletes have been called up to represent Great Britain at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Ammam, Jordan on March 28.
Keith Gerrard will make his first appearance for his country in a senior vest and will be joined by Lee Merrien, in his debut call up since he joined the Newham club.
There will be interviews with both athletes and men's team manager Bob Smith in next week's Newham Recorder.
