DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE striker Paul Benson remains a doubt for tonights League Two clash at Aldershot Town.
The 13-goal forward missed the match at Rochdale on Saturday with a stomach virus as Jon Nurse took his place alongside Josh Scott.
And manager John Still admitted Benson might not be ready to return to the starting line-up at the Recreation Ground.
"Paul was suffering badly with his sickness and was in no shape to play on Saturday," he said.
"He was back in training on Monday and it might be that he is ready to come back or be on the bench, but we're not sure at the moment."
One player who has returned to the full team though is central defender Anwar Uddin, who was named among the substitutes for Saturday's trip to Dale.
"It's good to have 'Anny' back," said Still.
"It gives us some extra strength in defence now."
