DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE striker Paul Benson has agreed a new three-year deal at the club after rejecting a move to League Two Shrewsbury Town, writes MIKE SIMMONDS.
The news will delight manager John Still and fans alike, especially after the side that almost made the play-offs last season, lost five of their first-team players during the summer.
Benson, who has netted 62 goals in 146 appearances will now remain at Victoria Road until 2012.
