A man was taken to hospital on Friday after a rush hour crash between a motorbike and car on the A13.

London Ambulance sent a crew to the scene at 9.20am, where they treated the biker before taking him to an east London hospital.

Police were called but no arrests were made.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said that the victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Traffic was queueing for four miles before the road was reopened again at 12.30pm.
