DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE will host newly-promoted Premier League side Birmingham City in the most eye-catching of their pre-season friendlies.
The Blues will bring a full strength side to Victoria Road on Wednesday, July 29, as part of their preparation for the new season that begins swiftly afterwards.
Former Scotland boss Alex McLeish is currently in charge at St Andrews, and the likes of James McFadden and Kevin Phillips, along with a number of potential new faces, should be on display.
Daggers have also agreed a home match with League One Southend on Saturday, July 25, while they will also play travel Wealdstone, as part of the deal that brought Graeme Montgomery to the club and Braintree Town, where former academy coach Robbie Garvey is now manager.
