DAGENHAM Labour MP Jon Cruddas yesterday (Wednesday) asked for disciplinary action be taken against a BNP aide after he suggested Ugandans threw spears at their enemies.
Simon Darby, 44, an assistant to BNP London Assembly member and Goresbrook ward Cllr Richard Barnbrook, made the remark on his personal blog.
It read: "If I went to Uganda and told them that they were all genetic mongrels and that anyone could be Ugandan I'd still be picking spears out of myself now."
Mr Cruddas said: "Some of the language I thought was beyond the pale. This is someone on the public payroll who is talking about spear throwing.
"You wouldn't expect a person who works for a local politician in Dagenham to use language like that."
Cllr Barnbrook said Mr Darby was to meet City Hall officers over the remark.
