The biggest cheer of the night during Monday's bore-draw came at half-time with the announcement of a Testimonial for Hammers' Academy Director Tony Carr.
It's something that's well-deserved and long overdue.
In his 36 years at the club, Tony has helped discover and develop many talented young players who have gone on to successful careers either at West Ham or elsewhere.
Things are still at a very early stage of planning, but Tony deserves a successful testimonial for all his hard work for the club, and I for one will be more than happy to add my support for such a loyal servant.
