Car showroom workers are making a final push to boost collections for a Christmas appeal that saw one million gift-filled shoeboxes sent to poverty-stricken countries last year.
Motorists have until Sunday to drop off boxes filled with toys at Dagenham Motors in Ripple Road, Barking.
The presents will be donated to children as part of Operation Christmas Child, which is run in conjunction with the Samaritan’s Purse charity.
Around 200 shoeboxes have been given to the dealership since the appeal began on November 1.
Children in Swaziland received gifts last year as part of the appeal.
