Award-winning estate agents claimed the top prize at the industry’s Oscars equivalent.

Stoneshaw Estates of Heathway, Dagenham, took the title Best Letting Agent in the UK at the Estas estate and letting agent awards ceremony hosted by BBC TV presenter Phil Spencer.

Co-owners Andy Thomson and Darren Griffiths also won Best Letting Agent in the South East (north) and came third among the contenders for the Best Estate and Letting Agent.

“It’s a phenomenal thing,” said Andy.

“I’m as proud as you like. Just to be able to say that you are the best in the area is great.”

Stoneshaw Estates have won the award for the South East’s best letting agent every year since they opened more than four years ago

Andy added: “Hard work is the key to our success. We are in the office six days a week and we keep working.”
