SCHOOL pupils have been learning some important lessons about keeping safe on the roads as part of Road Safety Week.

The children from St Teresa Catholic Primary School in Bowes Road, Dagenham, learnt the importance of taking extra care during the gloomy winter months.

Dagenham Motors in Ripple Road handed out 200 reflective wristbands to the children to help them be seen when they are out and about.
