POLICE seized four cars last week as part of their ongoing clampdown on illegal drivers - Operation Reclaim.
Officers from Goresbrook Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) were out in force in Lodge Avenue on Tuesday and stopped 75 cars in total.
Of those, four were illegal drivers and had their cars impounded.
One motorist was caught driving without a licence and three others were caught driving without insurance.
Sergeant Tanya Wiseman of Goresbrook SNT said: "We plan to continue to run Reclaim Operations for the foreseeable future.
