Social entreprise Catch22 opened the doors to its new office on Monday.

The premises at The Granary in Abbey Road, Barking, was officially unveiled by Barking and Dagenham mayor Hardial Singh Rai.

Catch22 has been working in the borough for six years helping young people in tough situations turn their lives around.

Their work covers youth crime prevention, developing skills for work and independent living, among other issues.

Sally Morris, Catch22’s executive director, attended the launch, which also heard from a panel comprising a teacher, young person, Catch22 staff member and council representative who debated the role of young people’s voices in the community.
