Game show legend Roy Walker will perform to fans at the launch of a bingo night.

Mecca Dagenham will be holding a House Party launch this Saturday with the Catchphrase star, famous for encouraging contestants to “say what you see” on the board.

Roy will entertain bingo-goers with some side-splitting stand-up and will host a special Gameshow final with prizes including a £1,500 holiday, an i-Pad mini and a sports car driving experience or pamper day.

Adam Cunningham, general manager of Mecca Dagenham, says: “We’ve got a fun night planned and who better to host our Gameshow Final than the hugely popular Roy Walker?

“Everyone can remember Roy’s own famous catchphrase ‘say what you see’ so who knows, we might even come up with our own special House Party one for the night.”

Tickets cost £10 per person and are available on a first come first served basis.

A limited number of VIP packages are also available for an additional £5 which includes reserved seating near the stage, a main meal, bubbly, and an opportunity to meet the Catchphrase legend himself back-stage.

To attend you do need to be aged 18 years or over and be a customer of Mecca. Joining is free of charge and you can sign-up at or at the club.

Visit the club or call 020 8593 9862 to get your tickets.

See event The Original Catchphrase with Roy Walker on Facebook for more about the night.
