Footage has been released of two men that the police want to speak to in connection with a burglary where more than £700 worth of equipment was taken.

In the early hours of September 22, police were called to Whalebone Lane North in Chadwell Heath to reports of a burglary.

Detectives investigating the case have viewed CCTV captured at 9.42pm the night before showing a man climb over a gate at the rear of the house.

The man then went to the rear of the house and was able to gain entry through an open window. Once inside, he was able to open the front door and return with another man.

At 10.08pm the two men left the house with computer equipment and a drill worth over £700.

The first suspect has been described as a slim white man with short hair and a beard. He was wearing a long sleeved sports top and jeans.

The second suspect has been described as having a larger build and was wearing a light coloured hooded top, trainers and dark gloves.

He is seen with his hood up.

Police are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who recognises either of the suspects.
