Chadwell Heath cyclist killed in A127 crash is named

A cyclist from Chadwell Heath killed in a crash on the A127 in Essex has been named today as Ben Greenslade.
The 30-year-old died at the scene on the Southend-bound Carriageway on Arterial Way, Wickford, on Sunday shortly before 8am.
Paying tribute to him, Ben’s family said: “Words can’t describe how much Ben was loved by everyone who knew him.
“He was thoughtful, sensitive and kind, putting everyone before himself.
“Ben was extremely athletic, loved to cycle and was at his happiest being outdoors. The whole family is heartbroken by what has happened.
“Ben was a wonderful son, a wonderful brother, a wonderful man.”
A 42-year-old man from Tonbridge in Kent, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released under investigation.
