A child has been taken to hospital after knocked down by a car a on Wood Lane this afternoon.
The incident took place near Southwood Primary School in Dagenham around 3.30pm this afternoon.
An ambulance took the child to hospital with minor injuries, while the man driving the vehicle stopped at the scene.
Police say no arrests have been made.
