WEST HAM players James Collins, Luis Boa Morte and Kieron Dyer are all expected to back in contention this month, but the news on midfielder Valon Behrami is not expected to be so good.

Boa Morte and Dyer are both running in training, while Collins is looking at the end of the month for a return date from the hamstring injury that has ruled him out for the last three matches.

Behrami, meanwhile, was due to have a scan in Rome on Wednesday afternoon to see the extent of the damage to the left knee he injured against Manchester City on Sunday.

An initial scan revealed no fracture, but now the swelling has died down, a follow-up examination of the knee, may well reveal ligament damage, that could even rule the Swiss international out for the rest of the season - a huge blow to West Ham's European aspirations.
