A church celebrated its 80th year of parish life with a fun day for the whole family.
St Cedd’s Church, in Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, opened up its doors to the community on Saturday.
The day featured games, face painting, a bouncy castle, stalls and a barbecue.
There was also a chance to reflect in the prayer tent and take in the aroma of fresh flowers scattered around the church.
This photo of two St Cedd’s volunteers was taken by Barking and Dagenham Post reader Sara Wright.
