PEACOCK Boxing Club face losing the services of heavyweight Wadi Camacho, who has been training with the national squad in Sheffield.

Club competition secretary Phil Macdonald said: "Wadi's place on the national squad means that the club virtually lose control of the boxer, but it is obviously a real boost for his career.

"He has done really well and is hoping for the heavyweight berth in the Great Britain squad, which faces America in the United States next month."

Peacock boxers will be in action on several club shows in October before competing at their own dinner tournament at Epping in November.
