JENNA Seaton may only be 22 but she has been through a lot in her short life.

Two years ago, Jenna, of Barking, was diagnosed with terminal thyroid cancer and has since undergone radiation and chemo therapy.

Doctors at St Bartholomew's Hospital delivered the devastating news to Jenna, who had just started training with Essex Police.

The former Barking Abbey student had to put her dream on hold while she bravely faced the gruelling treatment to keep the cancer at bay.

Last month she realised her ambition and became Police Constable Seaton, and is now walking the beat in neighbouring Grays.
