LONDON Mayor, Boris Johnson seems to be at odds with Labour members of the GLA over re-instating the DLR extension to Dagenham Dock. He should bear in mind that it is East London which will put a feather in his cap with the Olympics just around the corner
LONDON Mayor, Boris Johnson seems to be at odds with Labour members of the GLA over re-instating the DLR extension to Dagenham Dock.
He should bear in mind that it is East London which will put a feather in his cap with the Olympics just around the corner.
Our Mayor had no problem scrapping the congestion charge entering West London; if he had come from Barking, would he have scrapped the charge entering from the east side of the capital?
Now that Barking and Dagenham have joined the ranks of East-enders, the Mayor should do for us what he has done for others.
Could someone explain how a Labour borough in a Labour-run country is dictated to by a Tory Mayor who comes from the sunny side of the street?
As with the so-called north-south divide in the country, Boris is now creating an east-west one in London.
