Another man charged with the Dagenham murder of Ashley Latty

Detectives investigating the murder of 25-year-old Ashley Latty in Dagenham have charged another person.
Damien Carnigie, 29, of Union Close, Leytonstone is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today charged with murder.
Carnigie was arrested on July 17 and bailed pending further enquiries before being charged yesterday.
Officers were called in the early hours of May 18 to reports of a stabbing outside a private party at The Beaver Centre in Selinas Lane. Ashley, from Leyton, was taken to hospital but died later that same morning from his injuries.
Nana Oppong, 34 of no fixed abode, Kestrel Daniel Dyer, 25, of Barking, Daniel Agyeman, 24, of Thornton Heath, Nicholas Terralonge, 28 of Leytonstone and Jerome Joseph, 27, of Manor Park Road, Manor Park are awaiting trial, scheduled for February 23 2015 for Ashley’s murder on May 18 this year.
Also appearing alongside the men is Aimee Penfold, 24 of Croydon, charged with assisting an offender.
Three additional men, aged 22, 26 and 28 remain on bail to dates later this month pending further enquires.
Adam Penny, 23, of Whitechapel had been charged with the murder but did not appear for a plea and case management hearing after no further action was taken against him.
Three other men, who were also arrested in connection with the murder, were also released with no further action.
