Dog left tied up in Heathway after biting owner in the leg

A dog was left tied up after biting his owner in the leg during an argument between two men.

Police were called to Heathway, Dagenham after the dog was left following the altercation on Friday evening.

One man – believed to be the owner – stepped on the dog’s leg, prompting him to draw blood after biting the man in the leg.

The man left the dog tied up before fleeing in the direction of Broad Street.

The dog was taken to kennels by police while they try to track down the owner.
