The twelve people arrested in Sunday’s terror raids, including those from the Elizabeth Fry flats in King’s Road, have all been released without charge.
Witnesses reported hearing shots fired as armed police descended on the block in the 7am terror swoop.
The investigation was connected to the attack on London Bridge and Borough Market on Saturday evening that saw seven people killed.
Two of the three attackers, Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane, both shot dead by police at the scene, were from Barking.
The Metropolitan Police said that twelve people had been arrested on Sunday: A 38-year-old woman at “address 1” in Barking, and five men, aged 27, 28, 38, 52 and 55, and six other women, aged 19, 24, 27, 49, 53 and 60, at “address 2”.
All twelve have now been released without charge.
