Detectives investigating the stabbing of a man have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The 30-year-old victim was stabbed in Porters Avenue, Dagenham, on Saturday, November 17 after an argument.

He was taken to hospital after officers arrived following a call at 11.30pm.

The Met described his injuries as not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police have urged anyone who saw the attack or was in the area at the time to get in touch.

Det Con Chris Parkhouse, from the Met’s east area command unit, said: “This incident occurred on a busy road and we believe a number of people will have heard or seen what happened.

“We are trying to work out the exact circumstances.”

Two men were arrested and taken to an east London police station on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. They have since been released on bail.
