A cannabis factory with 200 plants was found in Dagenham this morning as part of a London-wide drugs crack-down.
The farm was discovered in Butler Road following an Operation Hawk raid, a Barking and Dagenham Police spokeswoman said. One person was arrested.
Operation Hawk is a Met Police offensive against street level drug dealing and cannabis farms, which uses information from the local community.
It is the second major day of action, with the first being held in September last year.
Since then, Operation Hawk activity has continued daily across the capital, with more than 6,000 warrants executed and 240 cannabis factories closed.
