Fundraisers are working on plans to help schoolchildren put on Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The Lions Club of Barking is also planning to provide manpower to celebrate the Queen’s anniversary of her accession to the throne in June.
They are in the process of relaunching their club with meetings set to take place twice a month at Dagenham and Redbridge FC in Victoria Road, Dagenham.
