Hundreds of people enjoyed the annual Twilight Classical Concert at Barking’s historical abbey ruins.
The crowd was treated to an eclectic range of music all performed by the acclaimed Aminta Concert Orchestra, who returned for the 14th year running.
Conducted by Dr Donald Hoskins MBE, the 50-plus orchestra played popular classics including Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from ballet Sleeping Beauty, and Rossini’s Thieving Magpie.
Joining the orchestra was renowned opera singer Anne Conoley and a talented young Barking trombone soloist, Jamie Pimenta.
As always the evening ended with a rousing sing-along and a firework display.
