Acid attack on boy, 17, during Parsloes Park bike robbery

A teenager has had acid thrown in his face and his bike stolen during an attack at Parsloes Park.

Police were called to the park’s main entrance, on Ivyhouse Road, Dagenham, shortly after 7.30pm yesterday.

The 17-year-old was taken to hospital with facial injuries but they are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Nobody has been arrested and enquiries continue.
