A man was arrested after a security guard was allegedly punched in the head outside a fast food restaurant.
The 42-year-old man, from Dagenham, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault following the incident outside McDonald’s at Festival Leisure Park in Basildon, Essex.
He was released on bail until Monday, September 23, pending further enquiries and the examination of CCTV footage.
The attack took place at around 3am on Friday, August 23. Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Basildon police officers on 101.
