Police are appealing for information after a large amount of Asian gold jewellery was stolen from a Dagenham home.
Burglars broke into a house in Bennett’s Castle Lane on Sunday, August 10, between 1.30pm and 10.30pm, and took rings and necklaces.
Officers believe they got in by forcing open a downstairs window, as the victims found their front door had been locked from the inside when they got home.
The Met has asked anyone with information, or who has been offered the jewellery for sale, to call Det Con Sean Spencer on 101, or Crimestoppers – anonymously – on 0800 555 111.
